JEW-HATRED BY MOSLEMS

The Jerusalem Post 2/2/08, has revealed that Muslims are responsible for fully half (50%) of the documented Antisemitic incidents on the European continent.

Rampant Islamic Jew-Hatred in EuropeBy Andrew G. Bostom
***
Demographic data from 2007 indicate that the total number of Europeans is 494.8 million; estimates of the number of Muslims in Europe range from 15-20 million, or some ~3.0-4.0% of the total European population. Thus, on a population percentage basis, Muslims in Europe account for roughly 24.0 to 32.3 times the number of Antisemitic incidents as their non-Muslim European counterparts.
***
These 2007/2008 data are in turn consistent with previous findings from 2006 on the excess prevalence of frank Antisemitism reported amongst European Muslims, published in The Journal of Conflict Resolution by Yale University biostatistician Dr. Edward H. Kaplan, and Dr. Charles A. Small of the Yale Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism. ("Anti-Israel Sentiment Predicts Antisemitism in Europe" Journal of Conflict Resolution, 2006, Vol. 50, pp. 548-561.)
***
But a much more striking and relevant finding in light of the burgeoning Jew hatred now evident in Europe's Muslim communities, received much less attention: in a controlled comparison to European Christians (as the "referent" group), European Muslims were nearly eightfold (i.e., 800%) more likely to be overtly Antisemitic. [emphasis added] ("Anti-Israel Sentiment Predicts Antisemitism in Europe," p. 557 and Table 3, p. 558.)
***
"In the Muslim world, attitudes toward Jews remain starkly negative, including virtually unanimous unfavorable ratings of 98% in Jordan and 97% in Egypt. Muslims living in Western countries have a more moderate view of Jews - still more negative than positive, but not nearly by the lopsided margins that prevail in Muslim countries."**

"Without Buckley's efforts a half-century ago to purge American conservatism of anti-Semitism, it is difficult if not impossible to imagine that Norman Podhoretz, Irving Kristol and the other founders of neoconservatism could ever have comfortably lined up on the political Right. For American Jews, their movement is the legacy that Buckley bequeathed when he died last week."

20. A PEOPLE GET THE LEADER IT DESERVES:

From Israel:

We have a PM who was never elected to the post yet refuses to leave after one disaster after another.

The people of Israel are mostly silent that we have a PM whose daughter interferes with the army and whose wife would belong to an anti-Israel group if she lived in the galut.

We have a PM whose sons ran away from Israel & the army.

The people are silent even after a member of the Winnograd Commission admitted that they were not going to jeopardize olmert's reign.

The PM would have been removed in any other country due to his financial dealings.

So when will the people of Israel wake up?

1. Israel Gov't/Courts is run by Corrupt Leftists who think that by appeasing Arabs . . .

Israel Gov't/Courts is run by Corrupt Leftists who think that by appeasing Arabs the world will like them. And the same goes for other countries who appease Arabs. If anything, they make the situation worse. Arabs mentality is that “everything belongs to them” and “if you give them a finger, they want a hand”.

Can someone out there explain to the Israeli government and courts that there's a halacha "eisov sonei le’Yakov". No matter what they want to accomplish by appeasing terrorists, they'll hate them anyhow. The smartest would be to throw them out of Israel and all Western countries and send them back to where they came from.

Israel's No-Win Strategy
By DANIEL DORON

Comment by
Dr. Aaron Lerner - IMRA:

"More than in most countries, Israeli politicians are preoccupied with
political machinations designed to buy support from powerful interest groups
by distributing government largesse. This causes not only the
factionalization of politics and growing corruption, but consumes time and
energy that leadership should use to address life and death issues."

Daniel Doron is being generous.

It isn't that these politicians don't have time to think.

They don't want to.

The Olmert team would rather stay in power for an extra month than entertain
action for the Jewish State's survival for years to come.]

Jerusalem

The massacre of rabbinical students Thursday at a Jerusalem seminary highlights the failure of the powerful Israeli military to stop the assaults of Palestinian terrorists. It also reveals serious deficiencies in Israel's strategy and tactics.
These have cost Israel dearly. They also harm the world-wide war on terror, of which Israel is on the forefront.

You can't stop every suicide bomber of course. But for seven years now, Hamas terrorists have been rocketing southern Israeli towns from Gaza. Israeli governments headed by Ehud Barak, Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert have all vowed to put an end to the attacks. Despite Israel's overwhelming military superiority, its governments have failed to do so.

Israel has scored some impressive victories in its fight against terrorism, especially from attacks originating in the West Bank. Numerous attempts by Fatah and Hamas to dispatch bombers into Israel were frustrated by a combination of excellent intelligence, daring special operations, and the ability of the army to enter Palestinian-ruled areas in hot pursuit or for preemptive strikes. Not so in Gaza.

There, a radicalized population has elected a Hamas government determined to eliminate Israel. After Israel unconditionally retreated from the northern Gaza strip -- hoping that the Palestinians would concentrate on state building -- the territory was immediately used for attacks on Israel. Why has Israel failed to stop them?

Governments here -- behemoths whose budgets consume about a half the nation's $160 billion GDP -- are generally dysfunctional. They are hamstrung by constant internal squabbles and Byzantine bureaucracies. As became evident as early as the 1973 Yom Kippur War, their dysfunction has infected the Israeli defense establishment. In that year, a totally surprised Israeli cabinet and military leadership reacted with confusion and ineptness that almost led to the country's ruin. The recent Winograd Commission of Inquiry report on the Second Lebanon War indicates that these faults are endemic to the over-centralized yet disorganized Israeli system of governance.

More than in most countries, Israeli politicians are preoccupied with political machinations designed to buy support from powerful interest groups by distributing government largesse. This causes not only the factionalization of politics and growing corruption, but consumes time and energy that leadership should use to address life and death issues. As the Winograd Commission attested, Mr. Olmert's government initiated the Second Lebanon War without proper discussion or preparation. During the relatively long war government and military leaders failed to define their objectives. They issued vague and contradictory directives, causing repeated failures and unnecessary loss of life. Only the exceptional bravery and tenacity of Israel's soldiers and field commanders and of the rocketed Israeli population saved the day.

Israeli governments have done little to stop the massive rearmament of Hamas in Gaza with Iranian weapons, bought with Saudi money and transported into Gaza with the connivance of Egypt. Israel did not even press its great ally, the U.S., to lean on Egypt and put an end to this flagrant violation of its peace agreement with Israel -- a peace agreement for which Egypt is rewarded by billions in U.S. aid.

But the worst failures stem from adoption of a no-win strategy. Many in Israel's top political and military echelons have convinced themselves that terrorismcannot be defeated by force, that to stop it one must compromise and accept some of its demands. But how do you "compromise" with a terrorist organization sworn to destroy you?

The Israeli leadership's lack of determination to win, and its chronic political weakness, have prevented it from resisting pressure from Europe and certain American circles (mostly the State Department and the CIA) to accommodate Hamas and strengthen the allegedly peace-loving Palestinian Authority. Amazingly, Israel keeps supplying Hamas, for "humanitarian reasons," with subsidized electricity and materiel including the steel and chemicals needed to produce the rockets that attack it. It keeps providing money and weapons to prop up the hopelessly corrupt Palestinian Authority.

So what is the one strategy that can win? History has shown time and again that military confrontation does work. Israel could achieve military victory by eliminating or incarcerating Hamas's leadership, not two or three a month (so that they are replaceable) but a few hundred at once. By breaking its command structure and its logistical apparatus, Hamas can be rendered inoperative.

But for this to happen, Israel and Western democracies must treat the terrorists' mortal challenge as a war for survival, not as a series of skirmishes. And in war, you must fight to win, by all traditional means.

SO, YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ISLAM?

If you are a Jew, you owe it to yourself, to your loved ones to know as much about Islam as you can. Not to learn the verkackte* "religion" (it's an ideology really disguised as a religion), it is the political part that concerns you, not how many times they slam their foreheads on the ground per day). You need not be able to quote the multitude of verses of the incomprehesnsible koran--incomprehensible because it is a patchworks of bits and pieces, taken from Judaism (mostly) and Christianity. And perverted. Oh how the teachings of Judaism are perverted! It is a pieced-together confusing mess--BECAUSE IT LACKS REASON!

It is not the koran, we are discussing here, however, but Islam--not its internal structure or different sects and schools, but HOW IT AFFECTS YOU! And me. For that's all that matters, really. As for Islam far away from us, in its mosques in Arabia, we couldn't care less how they pray there. The sermons delivered by their clerics, however, doconcern us. Why? Because more often than not they exhort the "faithful" to attack the Jew, to drive the Jew from Israel, and "in the end of days" to kill all the Jews.

That's why Islam is important to Jews. Now, let's get on with WHAT EVERY JEW NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT ISLAM--AND MOSLEMS, BECAUSE WITHOUT MOSLEMS THERE IS NO ISLAM, IT IS AN ABSTRACTION. AFTER HUMANS ARE GONE FROM THE EARTH, ISLAM AS WELL AS ANY OTHER IDEOLOGY, PHILOSOPHY AND RELIGION WILL CEASE TO EXIST. NO MINDS, NO THOUGHTS, NO IDEAS.

To get started, to put your toe in the water--don't be afraid, it's warm, not too warm, but just comfortable--we refer to a post at Jihad Watch and some comments by insightful and ultra-perceptive minds.

Start off with the razor-sharp mind of Bill Warner Bill Warner who says

All of my comments are from the standpoint of the unbeliever, the kafir. I have no interest, whatsoever, in religious Islam. My interest is only in how Islam treats the "other" or political Islam.

The amount of the material in the Trilogy (Koran, Sira and Hadith) about the kafir is considerable. About 67% of the Koran written in Mecca is about the kafir, 51% of the Koran written in Medina is about the kafir. About 75% of the text in Ishaq's Sira is about the kafir and 20% of the Hadith (Bukhari) is about the kafir.

Every mention about the kafir is negative. "Kafir" is usually translated as unbeliever, but this is wrong. The word "unbeliever" is neutral. The Koran defines the kafir by its usage and says that the kafir can be killed, hated, punished, raped, mocked, enslaved, plotted against, beheaded, tortured, insulted, condemned, stolen from, deceived, kidnapped, humiliated and on and on. The Hadith and Sira follow in the same vein. There is no word in the English language that has the negativity of the word kafir.

As a measure of the negativity it is interesting to observe the Jew hatred. The hatred of Jews accounts for 10.6% of the text written in Medina . As a comparison, 6.8% of the text in Mein Kamph is about Jew hatred.

This section is brilliant, not only because it points out how the Qur'an is more virulently judeophobic (even though Islam may allow Jews the option of Islamizing, unlike the Nazis), but how words like 'unbeliever' or 'infidel' are inadequate translations of 'kafir'. Maybe there is something to the claim of Mohammedan apologists that you have to know Arabic to understand the Qur'an, although not in the way they intend.

And this is the part people overlook when they for understandable reasons don't want to get involved in the inner workings of Islam (just as I'm not interested in whether Catholic priests are ever allowed to marry). So much of it is about Islam vis a vis Infidels (which some Mohammedan poster here was yesterday touting as a positive that the destruction, or at the minimum, an overwhelming distortion of Islam is what would be required.

Another brilliant obervation from Bill Warner
To conclude, like Mr. Spencer, I note that Mr. Yuksel [a self-styled "moderate Moslem debating with him] has called me to Islam. [That is, to convert to Islam]

Let me use this example to show the dualism of Islam. This “call” has two meanings. The first meaning is that Mr. Yuksel has an actual concern for my well being and does not want me to be one of the citizens of Hell who is being mocked by the Muslims in Paradise as I burn with my shirt of fire and drink my molten brass. I like that interpretation. But there is a second meaning to the call. When Mohammed attacked the Jews of Khaybar (an event referred to in the Medinan Koran) he first called them to Islam. When they rejected this call they were attacked, crushed and made dhimmis. It was in this vein that bin Laden called America to Islam before he attacked on September 11, 2001 . So the call to Islam can be from care and concern or it can be a prelude to death by jihad. Such is the dualistic nature of political Islam and the Koran.
